The Nova Scotia skip and her team of third Christina Black, second Jen Baxter and rookie lead Emma Logan dropped a 7-3 decision to Suzanne Birt of P.E.I. on Sunday afternoon.
Birt scored two in the opening frame, added another deuce in the third end and then collected two more in the ninth to seal the victory.
P.E.I. and Nova Scotia are deadlocked with Newfoundland and Labrador and Jennifer Jones’s wild-card team at 1-1 in Pool B play. Ontario and B.C. each have 2-0 marks.

Arsenault stole two in the fourth end, stole another two in the fifth and then scored three in the seventh to build an 8-2 lead.
