Stephen A. Smith had a hell of a time coaching the Celebrity All-Star Game this weekend, and that has prompted fans of his to ask whether or not he’d consider taking the hardwood for next year’s event.
Well, Smith hinted that he’d be interested after one fan insisted he entered the game and dropped 50 points.
Seeing Smith, 52, taking the floor against the likes of Quavo, Common and Hannibal Buress would be quite the sight, and fans would get an instant rise out of watching the outspoken ESPN personality launch a few 3s.
Who knows, maybe he could even convince his ‘First Take’ teammate Max Kellerman to join him on the court for the 2021 edition. Watching those two guard one another during a game would be iconic.
Smith brought passion and energy to his coaching role on Saturday, and fans would love to see that same animosity brought onto the floor.
