The WIAA has asked schools to decide which fall sports season it will participate in by September 1. Superior will make their decision next week and Northwestern has decided to play in the fall against conference only opponents, per the Duluth News Tribune.
Practices for most sports in the current fall sports season are scheduled to begin on Monday. Football, volleyball and soccer are set to start September 7.
Football games can take place from September 23 and run through state playoffs November 17. Most winter sports will start November 16.
