Week 8 promises a wild slate of NFL games, as Tua Tagovailoa made his debut as a starter, Lamar Jackson threw his first career pick-six, and the Chiefs busted out a fun trick play as a treat the day after Halloween.
Check out all that and more with the biggest moments of the day.
Tua tosses first career touchdown
Fins up! Rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa found DeVante Parker for his first career touchdown.
Steelers steal the show early
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson tossed his first career pick-six on the third play of the game against the rival Steelers.
Jackson had thrown 822 passes without having one returned for touchdown.
Great touchdown, even better celebration
Who needs cheerleaders when there’s running backs like Nyheim Hines?
After a 22-yard touchdown run Hines went for the cartwheel, roundoff, spin, mctwist and stuck the landing!
Le’Veon Bell revenge game
Former Jets running back Le’Veon Bell got his first taste of revenge – now with Kansas City – on a nice little catch and 19-yard run en route to a Chiefs score.
Tua is taken down
The Rams’ Aaron Donald said it was “Tua turnover time” and forced a fumble in the early minutes of Tua’s first career NFL start.
Wacky weather in Cleveland
Las Vegas Raiders kicker Cody Parkey lined up for a 51-yarder and missed due to strong winds in Cleveland.
The Lions’ special teams roar
Detroit blocked Indianapolis’ punt and set up Marvin Jones for his second score of the year.
Fun fact: The Lions have scored first in every game so far this season.
Chiefs pull out the tricks, and it’s a treat
Following a successful fake punt by Kansas City, quarterback Patrick Mahomes found Tyreek Hill deep for the 36-yard touchdown.
The Jets’ Denzel Mims takes flight
Rookie New York receiver Denzel Mims is a playmaker – he went horizontal for the 27-yard catch from quarterback Sam Darnold.
The Rams get a scoop-and-score
This Rams-Dolphins game is a defensive slug-fest, as there have already been four turnovers just a minute into the second quarter.
The latest: Goff got strip sacked by Emmanual Ogbah, and Van Ginkel returned it for 78-yard touchdown.
First punt return of the season
Things are just getting weird down in Miami.
Now the Dolphins have a 88-yard punt return for a score from Jakeem Grant.
This is only the second time in the last 20 seasons that Miami has scored a touchdown on offense, defense and special teams in a game (2009, Week 8 vs. the Jets).
Mahomes does it all
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes tossed a slick underhand pass to Travis Kelce for the score.
Mahomes has as many touchdowns passes in one half (3) as Jets quarterback Sam Darnold has the entire season.
Joey B. is a bad man
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been tossing dimes all day, with his latest to Tee Higgins up the middle for a 22-yard gain on fourth down.
Jarvis Landry shuffles down the sideline
Somehow, Browns receiver Jarvis Landry stayed in-bounds and tightroped the sideline for 19 yards.
Dalvin is cooking
Vikings running back Dalvin Cook has four touchdowns today.
Minnesota has had four offensive drives today, which means Dalvin has scored on every single one.
Just call him Joe “Houdini” Burrow
Cincy quarterback Joe Burrow somehow continuously evaded the sack and scrambled to pick up a few yards before going down.
